This typewriter is IBM 196C – for those who know their typewriters (and I don’t), this is quite sought after. It did work when I first had it but I could not swear to it working now . If I get the chance I will get it serviced again and see what the situation is with it. As it is it would make a good prop for background set dressing for an office in 1980s . I have typewriter balls for this and also some ribbons.
The paper shown is something that was typed to see if it worked at a basic level.
