This is a particularly interesting mid century rug – more reminiscent of Art Deco/Arts and Crafts than Mid Century. The person I collected this from in Essex was an avid and exceptional collector of unique mid century items .. he told me that he thinks that this echoes the Jazz Age. I just love the shapes and colours in this rug. The rug has some wear and a half circle mark where something has been rested but apart from this it is in remarkable condition.
